Straight as Trees is the program created by the Cristoforo Sabbadino Public Library and the South Lagoon Civic Museum to promote reading and creativity on the occasion of the World Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights Day on 20 November and the World Tree Day on the 21st!
To celebrate World Tree Day, children will be invited to climb aboard “The Grass Ship”, a creative workshop where nature and imagination meet. Using leaves, branches, seeds, and natural materials, the young “sailors” will build a symbolic ship sailing toward a greener world. Through stories, games, and hands-on activities, they will learn the importance of trees and how to take care of them, turning nature into a true adventure.
The presence of an adult is recommended.
